Tensions flared and emotions overflowed following the first face-to-face nomination episode of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, with Mika Salamanca and Bianca De Vera at the center of the emotional fallout.
In Tuesday’s airing, Mika was shown attempting to speak with Bianca after assigning nomination points to her and Dustin Yu. However, Bianca initially declined the conversation, telling Mika she needed space.
The two eventually sat down at the dining table, where Mika tearfully apologized.
“Sorry na,” Mika said, her voice breaking, which moved Bianca to tears as well.
“I didn’t plan to hurt you, but I know it’s gonna hurt. I know it’s gonna hurt you. And I also thought you’d understand,” she added. “Ikaw nagturo sakin noon, kung pano bumoto ng tama.”
Bianca gently nodded, responding, “I understand.”
Mika continued, “Na-hurt kita. Never mong i-consider ang love ko sayo for granted. I love you so much.”
“Love you, too,” Bianca replied. “Tomorrow na tayo mag-usap.”
In a heartfelt confession to Kuya, Mika expressed her guilt over nominating Bianca.
“‘Pag hindi ko alam kung saan ako pupunta, alam ko ‘pag nilapitan ko siya okay lang, and alam niya ‘yun,” she shared. “Siya ‘yung nagturo sakin kung paano maging malakas dito sa bahay.”
“‘Yung pagmamahal ko kay Bianca, Kuya, never naman ‘yun magbabago. Naka-gain siya ng kaibigan dito, hindi ‘yun mawawala,” she added.
The Kapuso star reflected on their bond, saying their connection goes beyond the game.
“So ngayon, gusto ko lang po siya bigyan ng time i-process lahat.”
While Mika and Bianca’s friendship was shaken, other housemates also struggled with guilt and sadness. AZ Martinez and Ralph De Leon, known for their close bond, dealt with strained feelings, while Shuvee Entrata admitted feeling betrayed after being nominated by AZ.
The duos nominated this week were DusBi (Dustin and Bianca), AzVer (AZ and River), and ShuKla (Shuvee and Klarisse), setting the stage for a dramatic elimination ahead.
