MANILA, Philippines — A 6.6-magnitude earthquake shook Davao Occidental on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. The tectonic quake hit Balut Island in the municipality of Sarangani at 9:39 a.m. Phivolcs said the temblor occurred at a depth of 122 kilometers. Phivolcs also said aftershocks maybe expected.
