Hindi umano sapat na maparusahan ang empleyado ng Office for Transportation Security (OTS) na nakuhanan ng CCTV nang lunukin umano nito ang ninakaw na $300 sa isang banyagang biyahero.

Ayon kay House Deputy Majority Leader at Iloilo Rep. Janette Garin, dapat maparusahan ang mga kasabwat ng naturang empleyado.

“It is not enough to file a case against the person who swallowed the money. It is important to uncover the syndicate behind these acts,” sabi ni Garin.

“Dapat mas managot ang nagpakain ng pera and the directors behind this syndicate,” dagdag pa ng lady solon.

Hindi umano naniniwala si Garin na walang kasabwat ang nahuling empleyado.

“Obviously, this is not the first time, and is impossible to do alone. Probably, there is a collaboration among employees. Might be the tip of the iceberg,” dagdag pa ni Garin.

Sinabi ni Garin na dapat din maglagay ng timetable si Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista sa pagtukoy sa mga miyembro ng sindikato. (Billy Begas)
